Straight answers on how SmashR works for players and organisers.

No. SmashR is a technology platform and facilitator. We provide the scheduling, payment, and spot-filling infrastructure to connect independent Social Organisers and Venue Owners with local players. SmashR does not directly host sessions or manage physical facilities.
Organisers define the target skill bracket for every session they host. When you view a session card, you'll quickly see if it matches your level — helping keep games competitive, balanced, and fun for everyone on the court.
If you cancel within the organiser's refund window, you're refunded in full. Outside that window, the organiser's stated rules apply. Any refund due is issued to your original payment method — never platform credit or a wallet. The cancellation policy and timing are shown before you confirm a booking.
If a session is full, you can join the digital waitlist. When a player drops out, SmashR can automatically offer the spot to the next person in the waitlist — helping organisers cover session costs and keep courts full.
